According to research and statistics, vaping is on the rise. It is particularly popular among young people (high school-mid 20’s). It is almost an $8 billion industry, as of early 2024. Over 80 million people vape on a regular basis. Yet, there is one fact so many vapers are ignorant of. Every time they blow vape out of their mouth and nose, it is a picture of their life, according to the Bible. James 4:14 says, “Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” Life is SO SHORT! It’s here today and it’s gone tomorrow! How many people do you know, who have died? One day, you will look in the mirror and say, “Where did all the time go!” No matter how long you live, this is true: you will spend WAY MORE TIME in eternity than in this life. With that in mind, are you ready to die? Do you know what happens “on the other side”? The Bible talks about a day called Judgment Day when God will judge the whole world according to his perfect standard of righteousness. Let’s see how you measure up: Ever lied? Been covetous? Stolen? Looked with lust? Had sex outside of marriage? Gotten drunk? Been high on drugs? If so, you have sinned against a Holy God! You are on your way to Hell! Thankfully, God in His Mercy has provided a way for you to be forgiven of your sins. He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die for you on the cross. Then, He rose from the grave three days later. If you will humble yourself, completely turn away from your sins and have childlike faith in Jesus Christ, then God will save you. He will forgive you, cleanse you, deliver you and change you. He will make you a new person who hates sin and loves righteousness!
