The back of this index card size (3"x5") tract says:
What was Noah’s Ark REALLY like? Do the pictures in Children’s books, accurately represent the Biblical account? Was the Ark REALLY THAT SMALL (like a tugboat)? Were there really giraffe heads sticking out of the windows? Wasn’t it supposed to be able to hold 2 of each kind of animal and 7 of each kind of clean animal (Genesis 7:2-3)? According to Genesis 6:15, the Ark was 300 cubits long x 50 cubits wide x 30 cubits high. The average cubit was about 19” long. That means that the Ark was about 475’ long x 79’ wide x 48’ tall. That’s REALLY BIG! There was plenty of room for all of those animals on the Ark, especially since it had 3 decks, that were full of rooms (Genesis 6:14-16). What about Noah? What was he like? The Bible says that he was perfect and that he walked with God (Genesis 6:9), that he was righteous (Genesis 7:1) and that he was a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5). What about the flood, itself? Why did God send the worldwide flood? Genesis 6:5-8 says, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, ‘I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.’ But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” So, God saw that man was evil, He was sorry that He had created man and He decided to “start over”. What about you? Would God say that He is sorry He created you? Or are you like Noah- perfect, righteous and walking with God, having found grace in His eyes? If you are still sinning - lying, stealing, lusting, having sex outside of marriage, sodomizing, getting drunk, doing drugs, being selfish, etc., then God is definitely not pleased with you. You are currently under His wrath and on your way to Hell. There is no physical boat/Ark that can save you, this time around. Jesus Christ’s life, death, burial and resurrection is your only hope! Jesus Christ is the “Ark of Salvation”! You need to “get into Jesus Christ”. In order to do that, you must Forsake your sins, Trust in Jesus and begin to Follow Jesus, Obeying Him! THEN, you will find “grace in the eyes of the Lord.” Only then, will you be saved from God’s wrath. www.RepentOrPerish.org
